SYLVIA RUTH COHEN SIEGEL 1923-2010 Asheville , North Carolina Sylvia Ruth Cohen Siegel, age 86 of Ashville, North Carolina former long time Albany, NY resident died on Wednesday morning November 10, 2010 at the Mission Baptist Hospital in Ashville, NC. Born in Albany, NY, Sylvia was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mollie Geller Cohen. She was a member of the Independent Benevolent Society in Albany. Sylvia was married to Leslie "Bennie" Siegel until his passing. Mother of Allen (Yogi) Siegel and his wife Allison of Ithaca, NY and Linda Siegall of Ashville, NC. Sister of Joseph Cohen and his wife Sally of St. Petersburg, Florida. Grandmother of Corey and Stacey Siegel. Services at the Independent Benevolent Cemetery on Fuller Road in Guilderland, NY on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 11:00am.
