Dear Karen and Janet, Betty and I were saddened to hear of your mothers passing. We have many fond memories of your family while we were growing up. Your parents provided us with work at Nelson's while we were in High School and before we went to work at the Tel. Co. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Dear Karen and Janet, We just discovered the sad news about your mom's passing. Ron's mom (Ida Sahr) was a dear friend. She was also related to me as my Dad (Sol Nelson) and your mom were first cousins. Ronny and I have been married for almost 46 years and it was because of your mom that Ronny and I met. I have a beautiful 5x7 photo that was taken of your parents posing with us on our wedding day. She was a wonderful person and since we lived in Binghamton,NY and your parents moved to Florida we didn't have a chance to visit together all these years. Ronny and I often thought about your mom and your dad,too. We feel very sad that we were not able to attend the funeral service in Schenectady last month. We were out of town on a vacation with our children at the time and never knew about her passing until today. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Her memory will remain in our hearts. Arlene and Ronny Sahr.

Janet and Karen, I think your mother was blessed beyond most with your dauntless love and caring as daughters. Your consistent presence in her life, and support for each other (especially in the past year) demonstrates incredible love. Your behaviors speak volumes for the love among you all.
