Obituary of Eleanor F. Friedman

Niskayuna Eleanor F. Friedman, age 92, of Niskayuna died in the arms of her children on Wednesday August 18, 2010 at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Eleanor was the wife of Arnold J. Friedman for 41 years until his death in 1983. She is survived by her children, Sue Ellen Friedman of Washington, D.C. and Laurence M. (Alexandra) Friedman of Mill Valley, California and her grandchildren Charles Friedman, James Friedman and Katherine Friedman. Eleanor also leaves cousins, nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. Private graveside services were held at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Schenectady. A memorial service to which the community is invited will be held at Congregation Gates of Heaven, 852 Ashmore Avenue in Schenectady on Sunday September 12, 2010 at 2:30 pm.
