Obituary of Lester Rubenfeld

Lester A. Rubenfeld of Niskayuna, NY, 69, passed away on July 18th. Beloved husband of Alice, devoted Father of Dr. Joshua (Gina Fiss), Dr. Ari (Kimberly Miller), cherished grandfather of Ezra, Sophie, and Aviva. Graduate of Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute and the Courant Institute of Applied Mathematics. Professor of Mathematics , author of two textbooks and founder/ director of the Center for Initiatives in pre- college education, RPI. Past President of the Hebrew Academy of the Capital District. Interment was private . In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to RPI Hillel, 110 Eighth Street Troy, New York 12180. Shiva services Tuesday through Thursday at 7:00pm at the family residence.
