i just want people to know what a kind, gentle, caring, supportive and loving man my grandfather was. when i became ill many ears ago and ended up in boston, poppy always asked how i was, was i getting the right help, and being the pharmacist that he was, what medications i was taking. but also he always asked when i was coming home. he missed me and didn't like me living so far away from him. he was the only person who cared about what was going on with me. in his last year or so of life, when i would come to visit, my dad would bring me to visit hem. my dad would always say that he wasn't that lucid and not to be upset if he didn't know who i was. well as soon a i told pop it was me, he knew exactly who i was and that i was still in boston trying to get well. and he still always asked when was i coming back home. now that he has passed, i feel i lost the one person who truly cared. the one person who wanted me home so badly. i feel very sad right now. but poppy, i promise you that i will start working harder and smarter to finally get well. and i will come back home. and when i do i will put the most beautiful flowers on your grave because you deserve no less. and we will have a great talk. i love you poppy.

I had the privledge of working for Moe as a part time Pharmacist for over a decade - from late 1954 to June, 1965-- We never had a cross word between us in all that time- I worked an average of 3 nights weekly and more when he went on Vacation-- Moe was 17 years my senior , but always treated me as a equal- Moe was a master at "listening" and I learned that ability by watching him in action with his customers--I never worked for a finer "BOSS" and I have had many in this long life time---As a young married, with a growing family , his support, helped me enjoy this halcion period of my life immeasureably - I can never forget him- He is one of my Pharmacist Hero's- sincere condolences to his family-- fondly , Hal for Sabina Seitz and family ( which now has 10 grandkids)

Gertie, Spike et al, I know that I speak for the whole Korotkin clan when I say that we admired, respected and enjoyed knowing Moe for all the years that I have been on this planet and beyond. The warmth that came from Moe individually and from his relationship with Gertie will always stay with me. He was a nice man. All of our love and warmest feelings go out to you. Paul Korotkin

We were very sorry to learn of your loss. Gert, we always enjoyed visiting with you and Moe at Beltrone and Massry when Mom (Harriet) was one of your "co-residents." May happy memories help you all get through this difficult time.
