Dear Ruth and Family,

Jane & I were very sad to learn of Harold's passing.
As I reflect Harold and I began our friendship at age five. And for three years we used to walk together to LHS in all kids of weather. It was on those walks that we shared thoughts on life and our hopes for the future. I shall always treasure those memories.
In addition we also cherish the wonderful memories of all the LHS reunions for which you and Harold donated so much of your, time, energy and wisdom. You and your committee represented the life line for the reunions for LHS class of 1951.

I shall always remember Harold as a good friend and a fine gentle man. He will be missed.
Jane and I share in your sorrow.

Warmly, Jane and Jim Smith
jandj59@comcast.net

Dear Ruth,
It was with great sadness that I learned of Harold's passing. My momma and dad enjoyed so many "reunion" memories with the two of you. Maybe daddy and he will plan some kind of reunion for all of us when we meet again. Please give my love to all your family ... momma and I will hold you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Harold was a WONDERFUL man. Be comforted by knowing that all who knew him enjoyed his company and thought highly of him.
HUGS, Elizabeth
