Obituary of Marilyn Finkle

MARILYN SOLOMON FINKLE 1922-2010 Troy, New York FINKLE Marilyn Solomon Finkle, age 88, of 24th Street in Troy, NY died on Tuesday February 9, 2010 at the Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Florida. Born in Bennington, Vermont, Mrs. Finkle in Albany, NY for many years and later moved to Troy in 1946. She was a graduate of the Albany High School. Marilyn was an active member of Temple Beth El in Troy and was past president of B'nai B'rith. She was also a member of Hadassah and the Sisterhood of Temple Beth El. Marilyn was married to Charles Finkle until his passing in 2001. Loving Mother Judy Robins (Fred) of Manhattan, Arthur Finkle, (Jackie Eskin) of Fairfield, Ct, Bruce Finkle (Lisa) of Delmar, NY, and Robert Finkle (Lauren) also of Delmar, NY. . Sister of Marvin Solomon (Barbara) of Johnstown, NY and recently of Gloversville, NY. Grandmother of Eric and Karen Robins, Michele and Dana Finkle, Benjamin, Evan and Brianna Finkle and Joshua, Justin and Jessica Finkle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Services at Temple Beth El, 411 Hoosick Street in Troy, NY on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 11:30am. Interment will follow in the Beth El Cemetery on Belle Avenue in Troy, NY. Those wishing to remember Marilyn in a special way may make a memorial contribution to Temple Beth El or Hadassah. The period of mourning will be observed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Finkle, 26 Wilshire Drive in Delmar, NY on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings from 7-9pm.
