Obituary of David M. Denzer

DENZER NISKAYUNA, NEW YORK David M. Denzer, age 83 of Niskayuna, NY died peacefully on Friday March 6, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Denzer was born in NYC where he and his wife Anna were married on May 6, 1951. They moved to Schenectady in 1953 where he became employed by the General Electric Company as an engineer at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. He retired in 1987 to pursue interest in active solar heating for residences. Survivors include a son, Richard B. of Florida, a daughter Jacqueline D. Parker of California, one brother, Peter W. of Houston, Minnesota and two grandsons, Reilly and Cole Parker. David was predeceased by his wife Anna in April of 1995 and was also predeceased by his brother, James H. of Hawaii. David's funeral services were held privately at the convenience of his family. Those wishing to remember David in a special way may make a memorial contribution to United Jewish Federation of NENY 155 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, New York 12203 or Congregation Gates of Heaven, 852 Ashmore Avenue Schenectady, NY 12309. The period of mourning will be observed on Thursday March 12, 2009 from 7-9 pm in the Hatkoff Room which is located at Congregation Gates of Heaven.
