Dave:
We talked about this moment but I always hoped you would Foxtrot and not Quickstep to it. I’m glad you are at peace now. I could write a book here but I feel that only one word can say it all for me: Thanks. I’m enjoying the memories upon memories upon memories. There is a huge void now both personally, and at the dances, that will never be filled. You were one of a kind. Your dry humor was second to none as was your generosity. I guess you really did hate that Blue Ribbon banana pie, but I was only kidding when I said we’d go back and get some more! You truly are dancing with the stars.

I was very saddened by David's passing. I enjoyed dancing with him. He had a kind spirit and a gentle humor that I will miss greatly. I often could not tell when he was teasing me or being serious. My sincere condolences to your family.

We want to express our sincere sympathy to you both and your families in the loss of your father. We so enjoyed all the times we spend with both your mother and father at all the dances and other social events. Dick was so glad to be able to help your dad get everything in order and hopefully make these difficult days alittle easier. Peace & blessings to you both.

Dianne & Richard Luci

Our sympathies to Richard and Jacqueline and your beautiful families. We remember when we first met your Dad with your Mom at the showing of Schindler’s List in 1994. He helped with Anne Frank Exhibits, our office, our programs. When he decided to go to Europe to relive the places where your Mom was during the Holocaust, we were as helpful as possible for such a very difficult undertaking for him. We will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family always,
Shelly Shapiro, Holocaust Survivors & Friends Education Center & Community Relations, United Jewish Federation of NENY

Our deepest condolences to Richard, Jacqueline and the family. May the good memories you have of David sustain you now and always. You are in our thoughts and prayers. David was a wonderful person who helped Holocaust Survivors in so many ways. He volunteered for us over the years, always with a smile on his face and a dance tune in his heart. Deepest condolences, Diane Freer, Holocaust Survivors & Friends Education Center

Very saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He was instrumental in my learning how to dance the Quick Step. He tolerated my "mad dash" for him when the Quick Step music came on and I tolerated his "humorus criticism's" while we danced.

Dave will be remembered for his love of dancing and his cheerful attitude. May his family know no more sorrow and may they be comforted among the mourners of Zion and of Israel.
Sincerely,

Rochelle Stracher

Like a needle in a haystack, true friends may be hard to find.
That's why I am so thankful that I could call you mine.
Whenever I needed a shoulder, you were there to catch my tears.
We shared many a secret throughout these past few years.
You've been there through my afflictions; you witnessed my defeats.
You were the one there to help me get back up on my feet.
I'll remember all the good times. And, yes, the sorrows we did share.
With you, my heart was honest,
but there's one thing I did not say enough times,
too late I did spare…

“Thank you for all you've ever done for me.

There's no one else like you.

Nor will there ever be...

A true and dearer friend, like you were, for me.”

In love & sorrow, Laurel

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I met David several years ago when we were members of the USA Rumba Formation Team. We danced together often since then, in fact just a few weeks ago at the USA monthly dance.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Dave's passing. I just danced with him two weeks ago and enjoyed laughs over coffee at Dunkin Donuts after the dance. I've know him for many years and always appreciated his humor. He will be greatly missed.
