My sincere condolences to Mr.Sher's family.He was my patient at the Albany VA hospital back in the 90's.Funny how you remember some patients more than others but Jack is one that I do remember as being upbeat in spite of the stroke.
I think of him whenever I see the people metal detecting on the streets in my village when it is bulk pickup time.One man lugged away my huge freezer at 5 am,and I thought Jack would like that one.
Your mom was a very nice person and very dedicated to him.
Accept my sympathy on both your losses.
Rose Ellen Flint,R.N.

Dear Richard, Gail, Karen & families;

My condolences go out to each of you on the loss of your dad, grandfather, uncle. He was a wonderful man and always made us teenagers feel welcomed in his presence and in his home. He was one of the parents that made a valuable impression on me growing up. I will always remember Jack with a smile on my face. You were very blessed to have him all of these years. May your memories and the memories of those who thought fondly of him sustain you in this time of sorrow.

Sincerely,
Barbara Jensky-Coluccio
