So often I look back on the wonderful memories that were shared with Rozzie in my younger DMV days. She was such a wonderful friend to me and what I didn't realize during those times...she was a mentor to me. She was always doing such nice things for me, I can remember still to this day when she introduced me to the wonderful department store in Cohoes...Cohoes Manufacturing! Wow .....what a great store that was, I loved meeting her there and shopping. One of the most memorable and funny stories I have is one winter day we were working at DMV at 875 Central Avenue, and we went out to lunch (I would drive with her) and we took her little blue car and when we came back to the building she parked in the back and it was a sheet of ice...the car was sliding all the way down, and when we got out we had all we could do to walk up the ice! She remained calm though....I'll never forget that day..scary to me!!!! We'd always meet for lunch and celebrate our birthdays together, more memorable times. I am sad to hear she has passed but I am sure she is with her dear beloved soul mate Moe, and enjoying being with each other once again. Al: My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. It is never easy to say goodbye to a parent. Cherish the many fond memories of your mother. A union of 61 years is simply amazing. May your mom rest in peace with your dad. Time heals. Please know that there are friends that care and support you.
