I actually did not know Florence but heard a lot of wonderful things about her from her husband, Dan whom I knew when I was a pharmaceutical representative. Goldwater Memorial Hospital on Roosevelt (formerly Welfare) Island was one of my accounts and therefore I called on Dan for many years. He would tell me tales of his personal life, as did I. His marriage, his wife and his family were so dear to both of them. Dan was a very special kind caring concerned person who tried to help many. I enjoyed our many visits and looked forward to them. We graduated from the same pharmacy school and although our surnames are similar there was no relationship. My kindest regards and memories to their children and their families.
