Obituary of Conan Lee Gorenstein
Conan Lee Gorenstein, 64 of Oxford Road in Brunswick, NY died suddenly on Sunday evening September 1, 2013 at his residence. Conan was born in Troy and was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Troy High School and received his Bachelors degree from SUNY Buffalo. Conan had been the proprietor of the former Ten Eyck Book Store in Albany as well as the former Book End Shop in Troy. At the time of his passing, Conan had been employed by Hachette Publishing Company in NYC. He had a love for magic and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He was also a member of Temple Israel in Albany.
Conan was the son of the late Max and Clara Katz Gorenstein. Brother of Stuart Gorenstein and his wife Barbara Werlin Gorenstein of Guilderland, NY and Sandra Ruth Gorenstein of Troy. Uncle of Benjamin Scott and Samuel Joseph Gorenstein .
