There are so many wonderful things to say about Arleen but I will start with how much I will miss her. We became fast friends when she came to work at Suffolk County. For many years we shared conversation of almost every subject...family friends, children, travels, work, and times we shared. It's hard to imagine that I won't be able to pick up the phone to say, "...what do think about this,.." or "guess what...". We always had so much to share. I will miss her dearly and the world has lost a bright and shining star. Rest in peace my dear friend. Love, Vicki

Max and I offer our deepest condolences on the tragic and untimely passing of our beloved Arleen. We understand what it means to become orphaned as an adult, and we know that she had been the heart and hub of the Farber family, especially after the equally tragic loss of her beloved husband, Jack, 20 years ago. Arleen was a class act, living a life of service to the community in her chosen professions, and first and foremost, bringing light, love, wisdom and humor to her immediate and extended family. Her beautifully decorated home reflected her values, to make one feel comfortable, to feel welcomed into her life, to be offered every nuance of hospitality, and to be graced with her loving kindness. She created a sense of abundance with her generous heart, and was gracious and diplomatic, no matter the circumstance. We shall miss her powerful, loving presence, her merry wit and shining example. We wrap you in our embrace and pray that you will find comfort in all the love she beamed out into the world, coming back in to surround you now, and in the months to come. Healing blessings always!
