I knew Howard when he was the overnight voice on WOKO country radio. It always amazed me that he could chat all night. He was a sweet man with a good heart. We had many adventures together including one crazy night on a Schenectady pig farm where dynamite was set off! Another raising a gaggle of geese or maybe it was baby chicks from Easter in a bedroom of his house! Rest in peace dear sweet soul.

I first met Howie when I was licensed as a ham radio operator in 1975. Helped him change a board at WKOL and later when there was a fire at the station. Always admired his knowledge of radio equipment which was pretty much self taught. I learned some about radio from him. We will all miss him.
