Obituary of Lawrence Jay Hollander

Lawrence Jay Hollander, 91 of Albany, NY died on Saturday evening, May 12, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. Born in NYC, Larry was the son of the late Irving Ludwig Hollander and Frances Fenterstock Hollander.  A graduate of New York University, Larry was a Navy Veteran and served during World War II. His title was AETM3.  Mr. Hollander was the Union College, Dean of Engineering, Emeritus.

He is survived by several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Bennet Norman Hollander, Lt. Colonel USA and a sister, Arline Hollander Mishkin.

Services will be held at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY where Larry will be entombed in the family mausoleum.  A memorial service will be announced at a later date. To leave a condolence message for the family, please visit, levinememorialchapel.com
