Obituary of Gladys Weiner

Gladys Ruth Weiner, age 96, of Albany, NY died on Monday, March 19, 2018 at her home.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elaine Sue Weiner and her sister, Sylvia Meiner.  She leaves her loving and devoted husband of 78 years, Morris E. Weiner; daughters, Ann (Larry) Chait, and Risa (Norman) Fox; grandsons, Jonathan (Manya) Chait , and David (Judith) Chait, granddaughter, Lauren (Dan) Fox McMillan and great grandchildren, Talia, Maya, Samantha and Rebecca Chait, Reilly and Asher MacMillan.  Sister of Shirley Mennen, sister-in-law of Sue Fox and many loving nieces and nephews.  Gladys was a founding and lifelong member of Temple Israel in Albany, NY and a long time real estate broker.  

Services at Temple Israel, 600 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, NY, 12208 at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.  Interment will follow services at the Temple Israel Cemetery, Western Avenue in Guilderland, NY.  The period of mourning will be observed at the family home in Albany, NY on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.  Donations in Gladys memory may be made to Temple Israel or a charity of your choice.  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Barats and Dr. Kieval as well as their staffs.  A special thank you to caregivers, Kriste, Marge, Bella and Kayon.
