I only knew Mrs. Karp through her wonderful son and her awesome cheesecake, which Bob would share with the DR crew when he would come back from a trip to Albany. She also made a delicious banana bread. And that's saying something, because I hate bananas.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers.......

My grandmother, Beverly G. Greenstein, and Mrs. Karp were very close friends all of my life. I will never forget when my Grandmother died, may she rest in peace, Mrs. Karp told me that she was too sad to see us kids without a grandmother, and that we could call her "Grandma Bea." God willing, she will always remain in my memory as she was that day: the cutest, sweetest, warmest "Grandma Bea." To say that she will be missed is an understatement, and I pray that God will reunite our families again in Heaven when the time comes.

Everybody loved Aunt Bea. She had a natural gift of caring and compassion. She was a great listener and genuinely curious. I will deeply miss my Aunt Bea, but will always carry what she has shared with me for the rest of my life.

Suzi, Jenna, Nikki, and Bob--my teenage years would have been so much less interesting, less funny, and less fearless without your Mom's presence and words of wisdom--even when I didn't listen. I'm so very sorry for your loss; I know how close you all were, and I feel lucky to have been a part of your lives during that time. XOXO, Deb

Jenna.... You are my daughter and I know how much you loved your grandmother. I just want you to know that I love you more than anything and I will always be here for you to help you get through this. I wish I was in NY to be with you, but you can always call whenever you need me. I think of and miss your other grandmother every day since she passed. That's a good thing. You will always have GREAT memories of your grandmother Bea for the rest of your life. I Love You... Dad
