To all of Dr. Cohen's loved ones,
It is so strange as just this morning, I was thinking of your father Z"L. I had no idea that he was ill or had passed away. I was looking for someone else on this website and I'm typing through my tears. Dr.Cohen was such a wonderful man. He helped me and my son Jon so much, when Jon was in the nursing home in Troy. It's called Diamond Hill now. I pray your Dad rests in peace.
One of you knew Jon Kohn Z"L at the Hebrew Academy or perhaps at Temple Israel. My heart goes out to all of you.
Most sincerely,
A. Nancy Kohn

Morris was an amazing person who will be remembered by everyone he knew. First and foremost, he was a kind and ethical person.
Morris was someone colleagues could trust and go to for guidance. He set an example for colleagues by always remaining engaged in the field of psychology, in part, by staying up on the literature in the field.
The people he served in his work will fondly remember him, especially as they remember their accomplishments in their work with him. My condolences to all of his family and friends.

I was sorry to hear of Morris' passing. He was an exceptional man--talented clinician and extraordinary person. His compassion and empathy drove his approach to people and to life. I learned a great deal from him. May his memory be a blessing.

Morris and I were colleagues at the Center for Disability Services. His intelligence, curiosity, energy, kindness and commitment to a good life for all people made him a wonderful person to work with, and such a great person to know. I am so fortunate to have been able to spend time with him. I send condolences to his family and pray for eternal peace for him.

I was very sad to hear of my dear friend's passing. I worked with him at the Center for Disability Services for many years and have tried to stay in touch over the past couple of years. Morris was my mentor, colleague, friend, and my hero. I will always cherish the many long conversations we had over work and on life. Morris was a great great man and inspired us all to be a better person. I will miss him. Please accept my deep condolences to his family-you were each his treasures.
In sympathy,
Mary Anne Yates

I was so sorry to hear about your dad, grandfather. We worked together for at least 10 years at the Center for Disability Services. He was a clinician of the highest caliber. Not only was he knowledgeable about his work, he was caring towards the consumers as well as his fellow clinicians.
In sympathy,
Debbie Lovejoy

Morris was a tremendous clinician and an even greater human being. He was my mentor since 1993 and the single biggest influence on how approach my profession.
Morris was generous human being who was always thinking about those who everyone else had forgotten. He had a sharp mind and was a born teacher.
I have had his picture in my office for 8 years because it reminds me how to do things the right way and for the right reasons.
I will miss my talks with him but his voice lives on in my way of thinking.
My Condolences to his 2 daughters and all of his friends.
