We are so saddened to hear of Uncle Milt's passing. . We are away on vacation, and just heard the news yesterday. We will forever hold him deep in our hearts and memories, as Uncle Miilt was one of the sweetest, kindest, and most gentle man we have ever had the honor of knowing. We will always remember him as the " moatsie man", performing that honor at so many family mitzvah's! Rest in peace Uncle Milt.

Milt was one of the classiest men I met. Ann worked at 22 school for years and I met Milt through her at our many social functions. He had a great smile and a gentle way about him. His devotion to Ann was something to be admired. Milt just brought a smile to your face.

My father, Louis B. Cartwright, served as Rochester Postmaster from 1954-1963. During those years "Milt" was his valued secretary and aide, and he continued to keep in touch with our family, visiting and making sure dad had first day covers and special issues of stamps. After dad's passing in 1994, Milt and I kept in touch at holiday time until a couple years ago, and I always looked forward to hearing from him. I'd like his family to know he was always a special friend to ours, and extend to you my sincere sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear Milt passed. He was a very kindhearted man. When he came to Florida he would stop by or call us just to say "Hello". May God bless and comfort you and your family.

I first met Milt at the old Cumberland Post Office. I was in the advertising department at Lawyers Co-operative Publishing handling their printing and mailings. I had a question about a mailing piece and whether it met mailing requirements. A gentleman approached me and asked if he could help. I posed my question and he said, "Let

There are not words for the love we have for you Dad, but a need to express our depth of loss could fill a bookself. You were always there for us, and forever giving of yourself in a chivalrous manner at all times, not only to your family, but to all people you encountered. You were taken from us to early, as your days here on Earth were nowhere near the lasting memories and love you are leaving in our wake. We are grateful for the honor of calling you "Dad", and the many years we have had the opportunity to live close by both Mom & you, and have shared in each others lives for the many years together, which regardless of how "long" ....we will miss you always. May everything you are be a lasting memory in the people that knew you, because you left a mark in your lifetime of a generation of honor that we can only inspire to attain. We are thankful to God for our time here on Earth, that we had you, and are proud to have had spent so many years by your side. You will always be Dad, and Grandpa that never failed in Love. May we say...you will be forever missed. All Our Love Remains.

There has never been a day in my life, from birth until now when my cousin Milt wasn't known to me, wasn't a part of my life. From, as I've been told, sneaking into the hospital over trash cans in 1944 to take photos of my mom and newborn me in 1944 to send to my dad stationed in the Philippines, to many memorable trips to the zoo (with little Karen), to his and Anne's being at every important life cycle event in our families. And more. His smile and his gentleness affected my entire life and will remain with me, always.

Karen, Marshall, and families, Uncle Milt was the most gentle man...always with a loving smile, a kind word, and good advice. Mel remembers living and going to school in Rochester and always being welcomed into Mom and Dad's home and enjoying a good meal. We know and have known wonderful people in our lives, but your parents were so very special. Uncle Milt will be a loving memory. We are sorry we are not near to support you in this time of your loss. We wish you comfort and peace. Hugs.
