Dear Betsy,
I was deeply saddened to learn of your fathers passing. I have fond memories of the times that I spent with you and your family as a child. Your father loved you immensely and I am sure that he is as happy as we are with the woman that you have become.
My fondest regards and sympathies,
Susann

Betsy,
I was looking forward to April 29 when I was planning to call your dad on his birthday.
Charles lived a long life even though he did not quite make it to 100.
Our group of unmarried guys enjoyed skiing, golf, bridge and good fellowship. After the war we had a lot of fun together and we kept in touch until now.
I want you to know that I was proud of our relationship and that I will miss your dad.

Dear Betsy,
We are so saddened to learn of Charlie's death, and sorry he didn't make it to 100.
We are in Florida, and will be returning to the Alexander in about one week. Our complex will not be the same without Charlie. We will miss his smile and happy disposition in our hallways.

Betsy, We are so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Like you we were looking forward to celebrating the big 100th birthday party. He almost made it, didn't he?
Charlie was a gentle, and kind soul. Mary and I will always remember him as a caring man with a great sense of humor. We will miss him, and our lunch dates at Friday's.
