Dear Donald,
Please accept my sincerest sympathies on the passing of your father Stanley. He was truly a gentleman and he was a giant in the automotive world. He always had a kind word and was always available to offer what turned out to be very good advice. In this time of loss please know his legacy will live on in you and your family and in the great Armory organization. Please extend condolences to the rest of your family from my family. Please take care of each other. RIP Stanley.

Dear Amy, David, Scott and Donald,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your father, who was such a dear friend of my family. It's been a long time, but I remember well our sibling groups growing up together and our parents being the closest of friends.
Stanley will be missed by so many people in and around the business, but I will miss him just personally. He was a great guy to know.
Take care,
david

To Stanley's entire family, Nancy and I want to express our heartfelt sympathies to them. As an Armory employee for almost 43 years working for Stanley and family I am proud to say that he was an honorable and caring person not only looking out for his business but his employees. It is a pleasure to be working for an established company that is based on doing things the right way that he instilled in all of us. I will miss seeing him. May he rest in peace.

I have lost a dear friend. My relationship with Stanley has existed for over 50 years. He was a distinguished businessman who not only formed Armory Garage with his father Anthony but supported a multitude of just organizations and those in need. I regret my inability to attend his funeral. I extend my most sincere condolences to all of his family.

Kathleen and I would like to extend our sincerest condolences on Stanley's passing. I worked with Stanley for around ten years as a personal fitness trainer and he was a constant source of personal inspiration to me. In spite of his increasing physical challenges, he was determined to never miss a session because he believed that it helped him maintain his capacity to continue with the things that were important in his life: his family, his many friends, his faith, his philanthropy and the family business started by his father. I often spoke of Stanley to other clients to share his personal inspiration to me, telling them that in spite of his increasing challenges Stanley gave everything he had to give and made me believe that, "If Stanley can do it, I've got no excuses." I am truly saddened by his passing but would like to take this opportunity to extend my condolences and honor a truly extraordinary life well lived.

In a lifetime one meets many people but very few are the person, the gentleman, that Stanley Metzner was, and will always be remembered as.
We did business with Armory for many years and there was never a time that Stanley did not come and personally greet us and thank us for our continued business and always with assurance that he and his family stood behind their product and service.
But more importantly, Stanley was a man of community and above all, family.
