Sanford N. Finkel age 69, prominent Troy Attorney died on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany surrounded by his loving family. Born in Troy, NY, Sanford was a graduate of Troy High School, the University of Buffalo and Albany Law School. He had been practicing law for many years in Troy. Loving Father of Marcy DeBiccari and her husband Damon of Loudonville, NY and Melanie Grossman and her husband Kevin of Delmar, NY. Father figure of J.D. Filippone and his wife Erin of Glenmont, New York kand their children, Jackson and Samuel. Pop of Samantha and Eli Grossman and Dylan and Nealy DeBiccari . Sanford was predeceased by his parents, Mildred and Max Finkel. Services at the Beth Tephilah Cemetery on Spring Avenue in Troy, NY on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 1:00pm. The period of mourning will be observed at the Grossman home, 27 Sheffield Drive in Delmar, NY on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm with a minyan service each of those evenings commencing at 6pm.
