My sincere condolences to Sanford's family. I've worked with him many times at the Town of Brunswick court and it was always a pleasure. He made the day a little brighter. May your soul be at rest and your family be at peace.
Prayers,

We are so very sorry for your loss. Sanford was a wonderful man & a tremendous friend. We met him when we purchased season seats for RPI hockey over 35 years ago and were lucky enough to get seats next to him for all these years. He always came to the games with jokes and stories about work, the families he loved, and just nonsensical things that he and my wife would laugh hysterically over. There will now be a huge emptiness to our left and games will never be the same. He will be greatly missed.

It is with enormous sadness that the news of Sandy's passing reached me as I was with him in 1968 in Buffalo, and was one of his roommates his last two years there. He was in my weeding party in Schenectady in 1969, and my love for him never faded.
I stayed at his house and he proudly showed me his Yankee bedroom, courtesy of his daughters. So proud he was of his Yankee jersey in the closet from his fantasy camp.
We used to go to meet him at 6 Lee Avenue and talk to his mom and dad before going back to school many times. Indelible memories.
He was loyal, smart, considerate and always fun to be with, retelling 50 year old stories and laughing.
I will miss his laugh, and will never forget his influence on my life.
His family - was everything.
Our fraternity has dozens of wonderful comments about him today, when the news was first heard. He was loved by the these people who are now far and wide, never forgetting SNF.
My condolences to his daughters and extended family.
I thank him for being my dear friend of many decades, Pat Marotta

Sanford was the nicest boy in School 18 and then again at Troy High School. Everyone loved him because he was funny, bright and just someone who always made you feel that he was glad to see you.
I am lucky to have been able to see him again at our 50th high school reunion. Talking with him made me feel that we had always kept in touch. I really do feel blessed to have been one of his friends.
At the reunion he spoke of his children with great pride. I can only imagine his family's loss.
Please accept my condolences.b2

To JD, your mom and family- over the years I got to know Sandy very well not only from work but also at Panera when he would be there with your mom. Always a kind word and great conversation. Would see him out and about and always a friendly hello and asking how things were going. A really great person to have in your lives.
Thinking of all of you and hoping that happy memories will make this time a little easier.
