Dear Gloria, I am so sorry for your loss. I will remember how he smiled when he looked at you, that last time I saw you both before he passed. You took such good care of him and he knew it, God Bless you! You were his Angel. Take comfort in knowing you will see him again someday. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. With Deep Sympathy, Daniela

My sincerest condolences to the entire family. I have many memories of Allen, at your house, at our house, in the bowling alley - there was always laughter involved. It was always a treat for us children when the (Uncle) Allen and (Aunt) Gloria were visiting. My thoughts are with you.

The Playdium was a very special part of growing up in Albany for so many kids.It wasn't because of the immaculate way it was kept or the great hot dogs that Charlie made.It was the wry smile that you received when you walked to the main desk.Alan Herkowitz did more than provide a fun afternoon,he taught us a way of life.He had a very unique way of saying he cared about people just with the look in his eyes.
For me this started at a young age as my parents enjoyed their close friendship with Gloria and Alan and lasted a lifetime.Whenever I would see him,he made it very clear that he genuinely cared about me,my family and what was happening in my life.He will be sorely missed.Sincerest sympathies to the family....

My deepest condolences. I'm saddened on hearing of this news. So many memories that I could mention, I recall Allan smiling at the front of the Playdium when I was in the bowling league. And of course, there was Allan and Gloria's great friendship with my parents. My thoughts are with you...

allan helped me improve my bowling game. His patience with my brother Warren was heart warming and gave Warren the desire to continue bowling in Albany. Rest in peace!
