A member of Temple Israel and its sisterhood, as well as Hadassah and Abigail #3 United Order of True Sisters, Bea was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and consummate homemaker, baker and hostess. She gathered immediate and extended family for many holiday dinners over the years, continuing the tradition even after Sol's death. She sat proudly at the head of the table and smiled with pleasure as the size of the assemblage grew, and reluctantly and humbly accepted praise for her culinary talents, especially her legendary chocolate cake roll and sherry cake Bea is survived by her loving sons and daughters- in- law, Jerry and Adela of Delmar, NY, Gary of Fairfield, Connecticut, Steven and Janet of Slingerlands, NY and Lewis and Elizabeth of East Greenbush, NY.
