Obituary of Myron S. Strasser
Myron S. Strasser, Jr. (Mickey), age 78, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 5, 2011. Born in Albany, Mickey was a graduate of Colgate University, Phi Beta Kappa, and later became a co-owner of Pak-Wik Corp; a family business. Mickey was a pilot and officer in the Air Force. He was also active on the boards of Congregation Beth Emeth and Colonie Country Club. Mickey was extremely athletic, spending much of his younger years as a ski instructor, rock climber and tennis champion. He will be remembered as brave, loving, kind, and dignified, with a sharp wit.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Marion L. Strasser, his loving son, Mickey P. Strasser, his daughter-in-law, Shana Kassoff Strasser, his grandson, Evan and brother, Sam.
Services at Congregation Beth Emeth, 100 Academy Road, Albany, NY on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 12:00 pm. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution can do so to the Michael J.
