Obituary of Rebekka Rubinchuk

REBEKKA RUBINCHUK 1924-2011 Rebekka Rubinchuk, age 86 of the B'nai B'rith Parkview Apartments on Hudson Avenue in Albany died on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Albany Medical Center. She was born in Belarus and has been a Capital District resident for the last 22 years. Rebekka was married to Semyon Rubinchuk until his passing. Loving Mother of Michael Rubinchuk of East Greenbush, NY, George Rubinchuk of Slingerlands, NY and, Ada Gross of Slingerlands, NY. Sister of Anatoly German of Colonie, NY, Nina Gurevich of Albany, NY and Tsila Danovich of Albany, NY. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth Gross, Laura Rubinchuk, Allen and Matt Nayfeld, Michael, Edward, Ross and Eugene Rubinchuk. She was predeceased by a sister Raisa Furmanska. Rebekka's greatest pride and joy was the love she shared with her family and will dearly missed by them. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel 649 Washington Avenue in Albany on Sunday January 23, 2011 at 1:00PM. Interment will follow in the Temple Israel Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. Rebekka's family would like to thank Dr.Jana Hoffmeister for the wonderful care, dedication and passion to medicine.
