Obituary of Dorothy Roberts

DOROTHY EDELSON ROBERTS Slingerlands, New York ROBERTS Dorothy Edelson Roberts, age 95 of the Terrace at Beverwyck in Slingerlands, New York died on Tuesday evening, December 14, 2010 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in NYC, Mrs. Roberts resided in Westchester County from 1946 to 1977, later moving to Delray Beach, Florida. Dorothy had been a Capital District resident for the last 15 years. She had been employed as a secretary for the Scarsdale Public Schools. Dorothy was married to Mac Roberts until his passing in 1968. Loving Mother of Roberta Gallagher and her husband, William of Scarsdale, NY, Stephen Roberts and his wife Meg of Delmar, NY and Leonard Roberts and his wife Donna of Brookfield, Ct. Grandmother of Matthew, Timothy and Victoria. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Edelson and a sister Rosalyn Sies. Services will be private at the convenience of her family.
