Obituary of George Horowits

GEORGE HOROWITS 1926-2010 George Horowits, age 84 of Albany, NY died on Friday morning September 24, 2010 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Mr. Horowits was born in Budapest, Hungary and has resided in Albany for many years. He had been employed as the produce manager for the former Trading Port Market on New Scotland Avenue in Albany. Mr. Horowits is survived by his wife, Erna Weisz Horowits, a daughter, Judy Fox and her husband Alan of Poughkeepsie, NY and a son, Robert Horowits and his wife Diane Borst of Washington, DC. Grandfather of Daniel Fox (Elizabeth Russo) and Jeffrey Fox and his wife Jessica. Great grandmother of Paige and Lucas. Services at the Temple Israel Cemetery on Western Avenue in Guilderland, NY on Monday September 27, 2010 at 12 noon.
