MARILYN S. FREEDMAN 1916-2010 FREEDMAN Albany, NY Marilyn Schwartz Freedman, age 81 of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany died on Thursday September 23, 2010 at the nursing home. Marilyn was born in NYC and was a graduate of Phillip Schuyler High School in Albany. She had been employed as a secretary for the United Jewish Federation of Northeastern NY and the New York State Dept. of Health. She was a member of Congregation Ohav Shalom and Abigail # 3 UOTS in Albany. Marilyn was married to Charles H. Freedman until his passing in 2007. Mother of Steven and Dianne Freedman of Syosset, NY, Mona and Daniel Hampson of Slingerlands, NY and Joan Cunningham of Loudonville, NY. Sister of Sandra Stracher and her husband Sam of Lake Worth, Florida. Sister in law of Cynthia and Marvin Freedman of Albany and Jacqueline and Irv Freedman of Loudonville, NY and the lateShirley and Sid Freedman. She was predeceased by her brothers, Aaron and Harry Feder and her sister, Rose Forman .Grandmother of Aaron, Christine, Benjamin, Sasha, Tom, Michael, Sarah, Briana, Jeffrey, Shannon and Matt. Great grandmother of Samuel and Julia.and Nicholas. Services at Congregation Ohav Shalom, 113 New Krumkill Road in Albany on Sunday September 26, 2010 at 2:00pm.. Interment will be in the Independent Benevolent Cemetery in Guilderland, NY.
