Mimi was a great mentor when I was in law school and worked for a summer at Pattison in Troy. I learned a lot. She always had a smile. I am sorry to hear of her death. May your memories of her remain bright and exuberant as she was. In peace, Anne

Mimi was a good friend and colleague. Her insight, intelligence, integrity, and ever present good humor will be sorely missed. It is with a heavy heart that we will be making a contribution in her memory to one of the listed institutions and to the American Cancer Society. Philip Furgang

Dear Family: To know Mimi was to love her, and one felt it returned by her. On a very personal note: when my son needed an intervue at RPI School of Architecture, Mimi graciously arranged it, and eventually that resulted in Todd becoming an award-winning architect...it all started with Mimi's generous use of her relationship with RPI...just an example of Mimi being Mimi..her loss will be felt by many...many...May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem..Sandy

Dear Family, Unfortunately I only knew Mimi for 8 wonderful years. We met at a golf event and became fast friends. It's hard to believe that she and I played golf at Mill Road in May. She was hoping to get in shape for the coming season. I think we both wanted to believe that her remission would last much longer. Mark, I'm the one that sent you the last Steig Larson book. Tho we never met she spoke of you often. I did attend the funeral service and the graveside and did offer my condolences but all of you seemed a little out of it, a little overwhelmed and Beth and Carl you probably didn't recognize me as going through my second bout of breast cancer has turned me very gray. Carl I will always remember the lovely dinner we had at La Cunard-oh how we all still had hope that there would be much more time. I will remember Mimi and all of you as she wished --with love. ev

To the family: I've had the pleasure of knowing Mimi for nearly 15 years. She was a spitfire "go getter" and as a long-time "MapInfo'er", I'm eternally grateful that she was one of our drivers and shepherds. As a fellow Colonie member and avid player of the game of golf, I'm glad I got to know her as a friend as well. She had a life full of the right mix of play and work, family and friends and I will surely miss her in mine. Rick Lloyd

Dear Beth and family - I was so saddened to hear of Mimi's passing. She was one of those truly extraordinary women who inspire, delight and challenge all of us who knew her to be the best we could be. She will be missed, but her memory lives on in all those whose lives she blessed with her presence. Peace. Judi

I am writing this on the day of Mimi's service. I have lost a wonderful friend. Mimi and I were going on the Albany theatre trip this fall. Of course she found out in May that was not possible. We had so much fun planning trips. I send this condolence also to Annie in London and her family. I met Annie on 2 occasions on our theatre trips to London. Mimi loved you so dearly. I do not know Beth and Mark - Mimi talked so lovingly of you and your grandchildren. HOw wonderful that Mimi and Karl were able to go to Greece in June. My tears are on this email because I shall miss her so much-Margie

Dear Carl and Mark and Beth and family, Mimi and I were classmates at Albany Law School, starting our Freshman year in 1968. Despite having a household to maintain and two children to raise, she distinguished herself scholastically. The personal attributes that precipitated this early success continued throughout an expansive and distinguished career as one of the Capital District's more formidable attorneys. Through her many accomplishments, she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues, as well as our gratitude for the manner in which she elevated the public perception of our profession. Mimi set high standards for herself, and in so doing, raised the bar for others to follow. Her's is a legacy of which the family can be justly proud. You have my sincere condolences on the passing of a grand lady. Bob Redmond

To the family: I know that the tragedy of your loss of Mimi is tempered by the realization of what a remarkable and full life she led; and what a strong and inspirational model and leader she was for so many. For the founders of MapInfo, of whom I was one, she served as a beam of light and life and energy, and will always be remembered for her genuine caring and counsel, both professional and personal. She will be remembered for her strength and kindness. She was a mother to more than solely her children. Blessings and regards, Sean O'Sullivan
