Obituary of Edwin E. Levin

EDWIN E. LEVIN Edwin E. Levin, age 75, of McDonald Circle in Menands, NY died on Friday July 2, 2010 at the Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany, NY, Edwin was a lifelong Capital District resident. He had been employed by the NYS Legislative Bill Drafting Commission as a resolution writer for legal services and was retired. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Korea for one year and four months. Edwin was the son of the late Samuel and Sarah Noone Levin. He is survived by his sister Annette Tenney of Perkasie, PA, and two brothers; Harvey H. Levin and his wife Diane of Albany, NY and Melvin B. Levin of Schenectady, NY. Edwin was predeceased by his brother Arthur A. Levin and a niece Caren Briscuso. He is also survived by his nephews, David Levin of FL; Gary Levin of OH; Matthew Tenney of New Kent, VA; Paul Levin of Schuylerville, NY and Ronald Levin of Jacksonville, FL; nieces Jennifer Levin of Saratoga Springs, NY; Terry Levin of Albany NY; Sandra Tenney of Naples, FL; Laura Rukowski of Perkasie, PA. He also had many other great nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY on Wednesday July 7, 2010. Memorial contributions can be made to the Veteran's Hospital of Albany, NY or the American Diabetes Association.
