Obituary of Henry Moldveen
Henry Moldveen, age 88 of Daughter's of Sarah Nursing Center in Albany died peacefully on June 28, 2010 at the nursing center. Born in Bronx, NY, Henry lived most of his life in Queens until 1984 when he retired to Lake Worth, Florida. He's been a resident of the Capital District since 2002 when he came to live with his son and daughter-in-law in their Niskayuna home.
He was the loving father of Steven Moldveen and his wife Karen, Sharon Greene ( Ron) of Northport, Florida and Andrea Forbes of Rye Brook, NY; grandfather of Heath Moldveen, Eric Bernstein ( Erin) , Ashley and Jillian Forbes, and great grandchild, Max Bernstein. Henry was predeceased by his wife, Frances in 1981;his sisters, Dr. Miriam Moldveen and Riva Bozarth.
Services will be held at Temple Sholom, 300 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, CT, on Wednesday, June 30 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY. A period of mourning will be observed at the home of Andrea Forbes, Rye Brook, NY, and additionally at the home of Karen and Steven Moldveen, 1428 Orlyn Drive, Niskayuna, on Thursday, July 1st, beginning at 6:30pm.
Steven and Karen Moldveen want to express their sincerest gratitude to Laurie & Colleen and their staff of the Green Team, who tirelessly delivered quality care and compassion through a most difficult period. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Henry can make a memorial contribution to Daughter's of Sarah Nursing Center.
