I am so sorry to hear about this. I remember Mona from high school, as a very spirited, and bright person. She always seemed so grown up, and confident. My heart goes out to her family.

To Dorice, Amy, Annie and Family, I was so sorry to hear of Mona's passing and truly missed being at the Memorial Service. I was away on business. I have such fond memories of our times cooking and talking about food. Her herb garden was her pride and joy and she frequently gave me fresh herbs to use at the restaurant. Her laugh was contagious as was her zest to live life. I remember great times on the Cape and in St, Maarten. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss and you will be in my prayers at this very difficult time. I know that she deeply loved and cared for her family and friends and she will always have a special place in my heart.

Mona has been a long time favorite friend and patron of the Peking Restaurant. We've watched Amy grown from a toddler to a mature, beautiful young lady. It was always a pleasure to see Mona come in for her favorite Chinese. She was always so happy, cheerful, warm, and chattery. We loved catching up with each other every time we saw each other; whether it was at the restaurant or at a local store. We will miss her and her beautiful smile.
Our condolence to Amy and the entire family for your loss and be comforted to know we will keep her in our prayers.

Dorice, You have to be a terrific person to raise such a energetic, loving and caring person like Mona. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, a smile with some good advice and most of all her friendship. I've enjoyed working in her garden on Mothers day with my children because she wasn't able to and my children telling me I'm not a normal mother because I would want to be doing something to help someone else out. They didn't know Mona the way I did. Sorry for your great lost. Her words will alway be in my thoughts so will her cheerful smile. she could always make me smile when I think of the good time we had. She was truly a good friend. She will be deeply missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of your love one, Mona. We worked together for a number of years at DTF and became friends. She made many friends during those years. I remember her with a smile on her face, a ready quick wit, and as a very caring person. It was common for her to have friends over to her home for lunch, show us her gardens, talk about the cooking classes, and of course show of her pets. Mona will be remembered in my prayers.

Oh the good times we had - through brownies, girl scouts, high school, sorority, college and visits during early marriage. We laughed, we partied, we celebrated the good times. So much time spent with all of you as Mona and I hung out at the Brickman home on Brookline Ave. Memories that will always stay intact. My condolences go to the entire Brickman family. May you always remember the good times with Mona. May her energy, her warmth, her love and her joy always resonate within you. My thoughts are with all of you as you walk this difficult path. May Mona's memory always be a blessing.

I will always remember Mona the way I viewed her when we were growing up. She always seemed so sophisticated with a killer smile. I remember one time when she offered to drive me to school. I was mesmorized by what she was saying and she was so intent on the conversation that we rolled into another car (no injuries or damages). Mona was never phased. She apologized sweetly to the other driver and all was forgiven. I was so sorry to read of her passing.
