Obituary of Marcia Fivel

Marcia Strauss Fivel, age 87 of the Van Rensselaer Manor in North Greenbush, NY formerly of Troy died on Friday May 28, 2010 at the nursing home. Born in Malden, Massachusetts, Mrs. Fivel had been a Capital District resident most of her life. She was an active member of the Beth Tephilah Synagogue in Troy and served for many years on their board of directors. Mrs. Fivel was a homemaker and was very devoted to her family. She was married to Harold Fivel until his passing in 1998. Loving Mother of Norman ( Joanne) Fivel and Robert Fivel both of Brunswick, NY. Cherished grandmother of Michelle Fivel Douglas and Scott Fivel. Services at the Beth Tephilah Cemetery, Belle Avenue , Troy, NY on Sunday May 30, 2010 at 11:30am. The period of mourning will be observed at the Fivel residence 101 Wilrose Lane in Brunswick, NY on Sunday following the service of interment, commencing again on Monday May 31st at 7:00pm.
