My dad's unveiling was 10/28/12. Physically I couldn't stand with all of you. I was very much there, crying, knowing what time it was & what was happening, loving all of you so much for being there, being so devoted, loyal & strong. The distances you travelled, knowing a storm was coming, the risks you took along with your own health & sorrows. Bless you, thank you Rabbi Ted & mom, daddy loves & thanks you for the life mom, dad, Ellen&Miriam lived, the picnics, trips, headstands, 3 grand children, Harry, Elisha & Jonathan & the delicious & nutricious meals that dad always gave thanks to you.

It's 4/4/12. Almost 7 weeks since my dad died. I received 3 phone calls and 4 sympathy cards. Thank you Toby, Aunt Pat & Uncle Herbie, Howie, Judith, Joy, Fred & Marcy. A special thanks to Liz Seeley, David, Nancy & Nathan, Jan & Tim, Amber & her dad. I'm sorry I missed you. I wanted to see you too. Please call my mom for my contact information. I thank everyone for being in my dad's life and for being at his funeral. I love my dad so much. I was with him throughout my life up to the very end of his. It was painful for both of us. He couldn't talk so he very clearly said with his mouth, I love you, held my hand to his heart, kissed me and blew a strong breath of air into my mouth. I love my dad so much that beginning 6/3/11 I had been to the ER several times for uncontrolable vomiting. I was finally admitted to the hospital for 6 days and was diagnosed with gastroparesis and panic attack which continued into the first 2 weeks of Oct. I knew that my dad wasn't expected to live much longer, & that was my physiological response. This is another chronic condition in addition to my multiple sclerosis which is in its 21st year. I hadn't been walking well before my dad died, and I couldn't walk after. That's why you didn't see me. The most important part for me is that was able to be with him & comfort him in his departure. If any family members, anyone has any comfort or support, I'd appreciate a call, card or note.

My father was a boxer, a glove cutter from Gloversville, a Sergeant stationed in Panama during WWII, a Professional Licensed Engineer who retired from NYS OGS Department of Structures and Design. His most important roes were that of a son who took care of his terminally ill father, was My dad devoted to his mother, brother and sister. His role evolved into ahusband, father and then Zadie to his three grandchildren and granddogs, two of which were predeceased, Laddie survives. My dad loved all his nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers in law his son in law, my husband John and his very wonderful friends.
