Obituary of Martin Rosensweet O.D
Martin Allen Rosensweet O.D., 92, born in Dayton, Ohio on December 28, 1919 and lived in Detroit, Michigan, Albany, New York and Longboat Key, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Paula; his brother Harold Roland; his children Daved (Kim), Bruce (Mary), and Sarah; and grandchildren Chana, Jonah, Joshua (Jen), Patrick (Vandana), Jesse (Sarah), Aaron (Heather), and Carla (Toby); along with nine great-grand children.
Marty touched the lives of thousands of people through his kindness and humor. He was dedicated to his profession of Optometry; he studied it and practiced it actively until a few months before his passing. Marty was also an avid golfer and tennis player, and talented photographer and potter. Above all he loved his wife and family and was an exemplary husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Dear Dad and Buppa, you will live in our hearts forever.
Services at the Mendleson Chapel located on the grounds of the Beth Emeth Cemetery on Turner Lane in Loudonville, NY on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11:00am. The period of mourning will be observed at 58 Ramsey Place in Albany on Friday from 3-5pm, Saturday evening from 7-9 and Sunday from 2-5.
