Florence Levine passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 28th, 2010. She was born in 1923 in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Rose and Max Altshuler.
After raising her family, Florence's love of learning led her to enroll in college. After much dedication and tireless effort, she earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees in

One of her favorite quotes was by the humanitarian, Albert Schweitzer - "My love creates in me an unrest which the world does not know, but from it I receive a blessing which the world cannot give".
