Obituary of Gladys Linker

Albany, New York LINKER Gladys Shear Linker, age 94 of the Atria at Crossgates in Albany died on Wednesday evening March 31, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Mrs. Linker was born in NYC where she resided for many years. She later resided in Long Island and Cranbury, New Jersey. She had been a Capital District resident for the last 3 years. She was an artist and pianist and was also an avid gardener. Mrs. Linker had worked as an executive secretary for International Cigar Company on Long Island. Gladys was married to Elias Linker until his passing in 2007. Loving Mother of Phyllis Linker of Clifton Park, NY and Eric (Terri) Linker of Intervale, New Hampshire. She was predeceased by a brother, Lester Shear and a sister Charna Silverstein. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Sunday April 4, 2010 at 11:30 am. Interment will be held on Tuesday April 6th at the Beth Moses Cemetery in Pinelawn, Long Island.
