Obituary of Norma Nicholson

NORMA NICHOLSON 1927 2010 Norma Nicholson, age 83, died suddenly on Wednesday February 10, 2010 at the Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Norma is survived by her husband David Nicholson; children Gary Goodman (Donna Goodman), Pamela Goodman and Tracy Goodman; grandchildren Gunnar Goodman, James Goodman and Spencer Grady. Norma devoted her earlier years to raising her family. She then worked to obtain a real estate license selling and buying real estate property in the Albany area. She worked beside her husband establishing Playtime Distributors, a Wurlitzer Distributorship, and later Playmore Video Games, where they owned and operated various arcade rooms. Her last family business adventure was Toys in My room at Stuyvesant Plaza. After retirement Norma became fascinated with modern technology. She became an avid ebay seller and her laptop was never far behind her. Norma's life was dedicated to loving her family and she was deaply devoted to them. She cherished her time with them every summer vacationing at the ocean in Cape Cod. Those wishing to remember Norma's love of animals may make contributions to the North Shore Animal League America. Visiting hours will be held at Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave., Albany, NY on Sunday, February 14 from 2:00-4:00PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will take place on Tuesday, February 16th, 2010 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
