Obituary of Peter Seidner

PETER P.SEIDNER 1931-2009 Latham, NY SEIDNER Peter P. Seidner, age 78, of Dussault Drive in Latham, NY died suddenly on Tuesday December 29, 2009 in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Seidner was born in NYC and was a 1953 graduate of RPI. He has been a Capital District resident for many years. Peter was a well known self employed architect. He was a former member of Congregation Beth Emeth in Albany and was an active member of the New York State Building Officials Conference (NYSBOC) .He was an avid gardener and enjoyed photography. Peter was a marathon runner and had completed the NYC Marathon. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Schultz Seidner of Latham, NY, 2 sons, David ( Pya) Seidner of Guilderland, NY and Neal Seidner of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Alexa Seidner. Peter was the son of the late Ernest and Jennie Rosenbaum Seidner . Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Sunday January 3, 2009 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in the Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville, NY. Those wishing to remember Peter in a special way may make a memorial contribution to New York State Building Officials Scholarship Fund c/o Bob Cordell, 347 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, NY 12110. The period of mourning will be observed on Sunday following the service of interment and on Monday January 4th from 4-7 pm at the residence of David and Pya Seidner, 1 Alexa Lane in Slingerlands, NY.
