Obituary of Stephen A. Weiss

STEPHEN A. WEISS 1955-2009 Stephen A. Weiss, age 54 of Slingerlands died Tuesday November 24, 2009 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 24, 1955 he was the son of the late Samuel and Edythe Weiss. Stephen was a pharmaceutical oncology representative for the Genentech Co. for 11 years and prior to that with the Immunex Co. He is survived by his loving wife Ethelyn (Lyn) Weiss and their children Jason Weiss at home and Amanda Weiss and her husband Terrence McCarron of Albany. He is also survived by his brothers Marc Weiss and his wife Michele of Cherry Hill, NJ and Terry Weiss and his wife Paula of Fair Lawn, NJ., His sisters- in - law Heather Addyson of Allentown, PA and Sally Lynch and her husband Tom of Beach Haven, NJ and brother-in-law James McDowell of CA. Stephen was the uncle of Vanessa Weiss of Fair Lawn, NJ, Daniel Addyson of Philadelphia, PA. Corey McDowell of CA and Renna McDowell of Lancaster, PA. He is also survived by his step mother- in - law Dorothy McDowell of Toms River, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday November 29, 2009 at 1:00pm at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave., Albany, NY.
