Obituary of Katherine Schwartz

KATHERINE SCHWARTZ 1915- 2009 Katherine Michelson Schwartz, age 94 of the Kingsway Arms Nursing Center in Schenectady died on Wednesday evening November 18, 2009 at the nursing center. Mrs. Schwartz was born in Schenectady where she was a lifelong resident. She worked for many years for the NYS Dept. of Education in Albany. She was a member of Congregation Beth Israel in Schenectady as well as their sisterhood. She was also a former member of the Annie Schaeffer Senior Citizen Center in Schenectady.Katherine was married to Morris Schwartz until his passing in 1965. Mother of Pamela Serena Frame of Rochester, New York. She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Michelson. Services at the Beth Israel Cemetery on Abbottsford Road in Rotterdam, NY on Friday November 20, 2009 at 1:00pm.
