Obituary of Frances Chapman

FRANCES AXELROD CHAPMAN 1922-2009 Frances Axelrod Chapman, age 87, died on Monday morning, October 19, 2009 at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home. Mrs. Chapman previously resided in Long Island and West Palm Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Saul Chapman in 1998, today would have been their 68th wedding anniversary. She was the loving mother of Judi (Izzy) Mandel of Long Island, Carol Chapman (Rick) Zanoni of MA and Deborah (Gary) Goldstein of Niskayuna, NY. Cherished grandmother of Kim (Aaron) Epstein, Lori Mandel, Suzanne Zanoni, Rachel and Zachary Goldstein. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Dylan and Ryan Epstein. Mrs. Chapman will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Services will be held in the Chapel at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home, 180 Washington Avenue Ext., Albany, NY 12203 on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be on Thursday, October 22, 2009 in West Palm Beach, FL. Those wishing to remember Frances in a special way may make a memorial contribution to the Daughters of Sarah Jewish Foundation for all the loving care she received while residing there.
