To the entire Golub Family,
Lewis will be missed greatly. Although I never worked closely with him, his advice and words of wisdom greatly enhanced my life. I have many memories of some of his visits over the years. Some of them were serious, others funny, but always memorable. Lewis touched the lives of many and helped provide a job for me that has sustained my family for many years. He was someone I looked up to through out my career. Rest In Peace Lewis.
Dave and Danielle Krupski

Dick and I send our deepest sympathies to all the Golub family. Lew was an inspiration and a loyal supporter of mine while I filled the Executive Director position at Wildwood Programs. He always found time to help Wildwood in leadership roles, Co-Charing the Advisory Group and Wildwood's first Capital Campaign as well as reaching out to advocate among governmental officials to protect the lives of children with disabilities, sharing jokes with Wildwood's staff, always with the written punch line reminder hidden in hie shirt pocket. Lew personally guided me in my leadership role by helping me to see better ways of leading and strategizing. He always respected the values that were fundamental to Wildwood and Price Chopper. He took great pride in encouraging Price Chopper Managers to employ people with disabilities. Lew helped to make the Capital District a wonderful place to raise a family. We will miss him dearly and always love and honor his treasured family members.

My sincerest condolences to his wife, children and entire family. We lost our mother this past July, she was from that same great generation, and I know how difficult this time can be. I would like to thank the Golub family for the opportunity to be a part of the Price Chopper family for several years while I was working my way through college. It afforded me an opportunity to build my future. There were many good times and lifelong friendships I made during the years I spent working at the former store #27 in Rensselaer. The way you do business is exemplary and I experienced that in the way I was treated both as an employee and as a customer. You have every reason to be proud of a life well lived.
