To the Milstein family,

Please accept my sincerest condolences on Bob's passing.

He was a great friend to me, and a great source of Siena basketball information that helped me immeasurably when I was a newspaper reporter locally beginning in the 1980s.

More importantly, though, he was a good man whose company and e-mails I enjoyed immensely. He was always a pleasure to be around, always a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.

The loss of a loved one is difficult to deal with, but our faith provides the solace that those we lose move to a better place.

I will treasure the memories of time I spent with him, yet will miss him greatly as will many, many others.

To David Milstein and Family,

My deepest condolances to you and your family. I didn't know your father, but the obituary was a beautiful summary of his life and how he touched others. I now know why you, too, enjoy Siena basketball.

Sincerely,
Larry Toole
