Obituary of Minna Schneider

MINNA SCHNEIDER 1919-2009 Minna Schneider age 90, passed away on September 18, 2009 at the Daughter's of Sarah Nursing Center. Born in Brooklyn New York she grew up in rural Greenfield MA., and was employed as a bookkeeper. She later moved to Washington D.C. where she met Herman Schneider. They married and had a daughter Hannah Rose. Herman's job took them to Japan for several years during which time she enjoyed much of the Japanese culture. They later moved back to Washington D.C. where she worked in real estate for several years before retirement. Minna and Herman were moved back to Albany by their daughter and resided at the Massry Residence and later the Daughter's of Sarah Nursing Center. In their later years they cherished the care and support they received from these wonderful places. Minna is survived by her daughter Hannah Shuman (Barry) and grandchildren Marisa, Joshua, Jeremy and Ellie Shuman. She was predeceased by her brothers Manny, Moe and Morris Rispler. Funeral services will be held in the Independent Benevolent Cemetery, Fuller Road in Guilderland New York on Tuesday September 22, 2009 at 1:00pm In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Minna's memory to the Daughter's of Sarah Nursing Center, 180 Washington Avenue Ext.
