Obituary of Corinne Ribner

CORINNE RIBNER Boynton Beach, Florida RIBNER Corinne Balayty Ribner of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Albany, NY died on Thursday July 30, 2009 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Florida. Mrs. Ribner was born in Albany where she resided until 1991 at which time she relocated to Florida. She was the daughter of the late Marc and Rose Balayty For more than 50 years, Mrs. Ribner was a prolific artist. Her original work was widely admired. Corinne enjoyed writing and was a duplicate Master bridge player. Mrs. Ribner's most devoted role in life was that of a Mother. Mrs. Ribner was married to Isaac Ribner until his passing in 1981. She was the loving Mother of Melinda Ribner of New York, Boynton Beach, Florida and Israel and Stephen A. Ribner of Guilderland, NY. Cherished grandmother of Jessica, Joni and Robbi Ribner. She also leaves her sister, Meriem Clifton Sherman of Richmond, Virginia. Services at Congregation Ohav Shalom, 113 New Krumkill Road Albany on Sunday August 2, 2009 at 12:30pm. Interment will follow in the Beth Abraham Jacob Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. A community period of mourning will be observed at the residence of Mr. Stephen A. Ribner, 223 Longhouse Lane in Guilderland, NY on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6-9pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Family Services of NENY, 877 Madison Avenue Albany, NY 12208 or a charity of one's choice.
