Obituary of Irving S. Goodman

IRVING S. GOODMAN 1922- 2009 GOODMAN Troy, New York Irving S. Goodman, age 86 of Pointview Drive in Troy, NY died on Friday July 24, 2009 at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Mr.Goodman was a lifelong Troy resident and was a graduate of Troy High School. He was an Army veteran and served in the Pacific during World War II. Irving was a member of Temple Beth El in Troy. Mr. Goodman was married to Louise Kanoff Goodman until her passing in 1997. Loving father of Martin and Bryan Goodman both of Troy, NY and Dr. Gail Goodman of Orchard Park, New York. Brother of Paula Samiof of Troy, NY. Grandfather of Zachary Goodman. He also leaves nieces and nephews. Services at Temple Beth El 411 Hoosick Street in Troy, NY on Monday July 27, 2009 at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the Beth El Cemetery in Troy, NY. Those wishing to remember Irving in a special way may make a memorial contribution to Temple Beth El.
